Earth Day Cleanup in Goodale Park: April 19th, 9:00am-12:00pm

13 volunteer-maintained garden beds, 6 tennis courts, over 750 trees, 2 playgrounds, 1 baseball diamond, 1 basketball court and tons of dog space—all on 33 beautiful acres.

Goodale Park is not only Columbus’ oldest city park, it’s also Columbus’ most-used city park. That means LOTS of litter and a great need for volunteers to help with the upkeep.

Please join Friends of Goodale Park, Green Columbus, Keep Columbus BeautifulPRIDE Gives & PRIDE Council, Chase GoodWorksColumbus Gives Back, and more as we come together for Earth Day 2014.

This year’s Earth Day theme is Gratitude!

We’re grateful for our volunteers.

Green Columbus is helping us show our thanks by partnering with community businesses for special treats for this year’s Earth Day volunteers. We will have vouchers for Chipotle burritos, coupons for appetizers from Max & Erma’s, scoops from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, cookies from Pattycake Bakery, pizza from Mikey’s Late Night Slice, Clif Bars, car2go memberships and minutes, and movie passes from Gateway Film Center.
Volunteers are also encouraged to attend Green Columbus’ Earth Day celebration on April 26 at Columbus Commons.

Gratitude? Yeah, we got that.
